Why Ireland for Non-European Founders?

One jurisdiction. Full EU access, low tax, and zero language barriers.

Start the process

Familiar Ltd Co structure

Virtually identical to a UK Ltd — easy for British founders to operate and understand from day one.

Holding company friendly

Ireland's participation exemption makes it an ideal jurisdiction for international holding structures and IP holding.

Established business ecosystem

Home to Apple, Google, Meta — a mature, well-serviced environment with deep professional infrastructure.

Easy board meetings

No complex residency requirements to hold director meetings in Ireland — straightforward governance.

Reviewed by experts, checked by technology

We prepare the documents and registers, then qualified professionals review everything before anything is filed or issued.

Here's how it works

Step 1

Complete our super-simple onboarding process

Answer a few basic questions about your company, ownership, and plans. We make the complicated technical decisions, in your best interests.

Experts & Technology

Step 2

Our Tech and Human Experts review your application for accuracy

Our workflows prepare the documents and registers, then qualified professionals check the details before anything is filed or issued.

Working Together

Step 3

Let us deal with the pain of the Regulator, while you stay focused on your business

We submit to the Company Registry and handle follow-ups, so you don't have to chase emails or track statuses.

Open Forest stays on top of your CRO obligations, keeps filings moving, and flags anything that needs your sign-off - so you don’t lose time to follow-ups or missed deadlines.

Start Incorporation

What you need to set up an Irish company

Two things to sort before incorporation: (1) your Irish ID number (IPN) and (2) a non-resident insurance bond. Here’s exactly what’s involved:

1

Getting your Irish Personal Number (IPN)

An IPN is needed by all directors and any shareholder with more than 25%.

If you don’t already have one, we guide you through requirements, document prep, and keep the process on track.

2

Non-resident director bond

Non-EEA resident director companies usually need a Section 137 bond before incorporation can complete.

We confirm whether the bond applies, arrange the correct cover, and connect it to the CRO filing workflow.

3

Incorporation documents and registers

We help you prepare shareholder, director, registered office, company secretary, and beneficial owner details in the format Revenue and the CRO expect.

The Essentials

Add-ons

Registered Office Address*All Irish companies are required to have a registered office address in Ireland - to receive official correspondence. Use ours to hide your personal address from the public register.

Company Secretary Service*All companies are required to appoint a Company Secretary. It's a legal requirement to appoint someone with the skills and resources for the job.

Tax & Accounting

Do you need our tax and accounting solutions?*

Non-residents

Irish Identification Number (IPN) - €79 /person*All Directors (and Shareholders with more than 25%) without an Irish PPS number need a verified identification number (IPN) before the company can be registered. You will need to visit a Notary Public in your town/city and then we will do the rest.

Non-Resident Bond (no EEA resident director only)*If none of your directors are resident in the EEA, Irish law requires a two-year non-resident (Section 137) bond as security against certain penalties. You only need it when no director qualifies.

Frequently asked questions

1What's included in the price?

Your package price covers the full incorporation workflow end-to-end: smart onboarding to collect company and stakeholder details, preparation of the required documents and registers, expert review before anything is submitted, and filing with the CRO-including the €50 CRO fee. You'll also get a clear audit trail and downloadable outputs (documents, confirmations, and receipts) once filing is complete.

2Is pricing per company or per user?

Core incorporation pricing is per company. Some add-ons are priced by service, person, year, or month, so the calculator separates one-off and recurring costs clearly.

You can choose the services you need. Start with incorporation, then add registered office, company secretary, tax and accounting, identification numbers, or a non-resident bond when relevant.

4Are government fees included?

The Essentials and Future Proof incorporation packages include the €50 CRO incorporation fee. Any other government charges, disbursements, or third-party costs are confirmed before submission.

5When do I pay?

You pay before we submit filings or activate paid services. Recurring services are billed on the schedule shown in your pricing breakdown.

6Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel ongoing support at any time. We'll keep your company records clear and help make handover straightforward.

7What happens to my documents if I cancel?

Your documents remain available to you. We keep a clear record of filings, confirmations, receipts, and company outputs so you can download and retain them.
