Open Forest was founded in 2023 by Stuart Connolly and Pourya Saber - a senior lawyer and an engineer who both experienced first-hand how painful compliance can be for early-stage companies.

Stuart spent over 10 years at three of Ireland's top tier law firms, helping businesses navigate complex legal and regulatory challenges.

Pourya built, scaled and sold technology products at Beamly and Adbrain, where he saw how much time founders spend on compliance instead of focusing on their own businesses.

The idea was a simple one, to enable business owners to meet all of their legal, compliance, tax and accounting obligations, without distracting them from running their actual business.
